Refund Policy

1. General principle
Viaja Bonita planners are digital products with immediate access upon payment confirmation. For this reason, we apply a limited and clear refund policy focused on cases where the Service did not work as described. Once premium content has been accessed, refunds are not available.
“Accessing premium content” means opening any premium tab, section, or interactive checklist within the planner, as recorded in our server logs.
2. Eligible cases for refund
You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase if any of these conditions are met:
- You could not access the planner due to a technical issue attributable to Viaja Bonita.
- The premium planner was not unlocked after a payment confirmed by Stripe.
EU residents (Digital Content Directive): if the digital content does not conform to the contract, you may also be entitled to a proportional price reduction. Contact us to evaluate your specific situation.
Duplicate purchases: if you accidentally purchase the same planner twice, contact us within 14 days and we will refund the duplicate charge without requiring further justification.
3. Cases not eligible for refund
Refunds do not apply in the following cases:
- Planners where premium content has been accessed and explored, regardless of how much time has passed since purchase.
- Planners that have already been significantly used, completed, fully explored, or where premium content has been accessed.
- Change of mind after accessing premium content.
- Destination information that changed after purchase (prices, schedules, visa requirements, provider availability, etc.). Viaja Bonita does not control changes from external providers.
- Gift planners that have already been redeemed by the recipient.
- Purchases made through external sites, third-party platforms, or intermediaries.
- Loss of access to the registered email address.
- Travel decisions made without verifying information with official sources or the relevant providers.
- Requests received after the 14-day window from the date of purchase.
4. Digital gifts
Unredeemed digital gifts may be eligible for a refund within 14 days of the original purchase, provided the recipient has not redeemed access. Once redeemed, gifts are non-refundable except in cases of a verified technical failure of the Service.
5. How to request a refund
Send your request to hola@viajabonita.com with the following information:
- The email address used during purchase.
- The name or destination of the planner purchased.
- A brief description of the reason for the request.
- Proof of purchase or transaction number (if available).
Please contact us before initiating a dispute with your bank or card issuer. Chargebacks initiated without first contacting us may result in account suspension. Most issues can be resolved within 3 to 5 business days.
6. Processing time
We evaluate requests within 3 to 5 business days of receipt. If the refund is approved, Stripe processes it within 5 to 10 additional business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
7. Unresolved complaints and escalation
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate your complaint to the relevant consumer protection authority in your jurisdiction:
- United States: Federal Trade Commission (ftc.gov) or your state’s consumer protection office
- European Union: your national data protection authority or the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr)
- Mexico: PROFECO (profeco.gob.mx)
- Colombia: SIC (sic.gov.co)
- Argentina: Dirección Nacional de Defensa del Consumidor (argentina.gob.ar/defensaconsumidor)
8. Purchases on external platforms
Viaja Bonita cannot process refunds for purchases made through external platforms, marketplaces, or intermediaries. In those cases, you must contact the platform where the purchase was made directly.
